🎓 Eligibility Criteria

1. Qualification & Overqualification Rule

Minimum Educational Qualification: Must have passed 10th Standard (Matriculation) or an equivalent examination.
Crucial Bar: Candidates who have passed Graduation or equivalent higher qualifications are strictly NOT eligible.
Local Language Requirement: Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing Tamil.

2. Service Conditions

Must be an Ex-Serviceman / Ex-Agniveer discharged with an “Exemplary” character rating.
Personnel serving in the Armed Forces whose Specific Period of Engagement (SPE) completes on or before September 30, 2026, can also apply.
Note: Disabled Ex-Servicemen and PwBD candidates are not eligible for this physical security post.

3. Age Limit (As of 01 August 2026)

Base Age: 18 to 26 years.
Age Relaxations:
- General Ex-Servicemen: Service Period + 3 Years (Max age ceiling: 45 years).
- OBC Ex-Servicemen: Service Period + 3 Years (Max age ceiling: 45 years).
- SC / ST Ex-Servicemen: Service Period + 3 Years (Max age ceiling: 45 years).

💰 Salary & Pay Scale

Selected candidates will receive basic pay fixation as per the Bipartite Settlement along with standard banking allowances (DA, HRA, Medical, etc.).

Pay Scale: ₹19,500 – ₹37,815
Starting Basic Pay: ₹19,500/month
Probation Period: 6 months of active service
